Dr. Aislinn

Dr. Aislinn grew up in Swan River, Manitoba which is a small town in Canada. She grew up playing all sports with her two older brothers including hockey, soccer, and softball competitively. Hockey was what especially kept sending Aislinn to the chiropractor. She decided to become one while playing her second of four years of College hockey when she suffered a bad concussion. After just one week of chiropractic care, all of Aislinn’s symptoms were gone, and she knew that she wanted to help others the way that her chiropractors had helped her all of these years.

After finishing four years at the University of Lethbridge studying Kinesiology, Aislinn transferred to Palmer College of Chiropractic to pursue her Doctor of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. While at Palmer, Aislinn met her wife, Bronwyn! Aislinn spends her free time playing hockey for the Sun Prairie Rage, as well as camping and hiking with their dog, Mazie.

Dr. Aislinn enjoys working with athletes of all ages to help them reach their full potential through regular chiropractic care. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Sports Science and Rehabilitation from Logan University, to better serve her patients as a certified chiropractic sports physician. Dr. Aislinn also enjoys working with families, including pregnant patients and kids. She practices using the Palmer Package (Gonstead, Diversified, Thompson) as well as the Activator technique.

HOLISTIC PRACTICE

PHILOSOPHY

Headshot of Dr. Gary Hutchinson, Chiropractor in Stoughton, WI

My Chiropractic philosophy begins with the principle that the human organism has an innate power to maintain its own health. The art of chiropractic focuses on adjustments to correct spinal malfunctions, called subluxations, in order to remove interference to the spinal cord and the nerves that exit between the bones of the spine. Science has found that the nerve system controls all other organs and tissues of the body, so a nerve system functioning at its best facilitates the body's ability to cope with disability and disease. Because of its potential to enable patients to live healthier, more fulfilling lives, chiropractic has been called "The Big Idea."

"I believe there is no single technique which is best for every individual. I feel some diversity can better serve my patients than trying to make them conform to preconceived notions of what should work."

The ChiropracticApproach

The chiropractic approach to health care is holistic, stressing the patient's overall well being. It recognizes that many factors affect health, including exercise, diet, rest, environment and heredity.  Chiropractic focuses on maintaining optimal health naturally so that the body is better able to resist disease.  Chiropractors use natural, non-drug, non-surgical health care and relies on the body's inherent recuperative abilities.

When bones of the spine become misaligned or move out of their normal position, they can distort the flow of information from the brain to the body.  Without the proper information from the nerve system, the body cannot function to its full potential.  That's why chiropractors gently correct these misalignments, or vertebral subluxations -- to  correction interference to the nerve system and the body's ability to control and coordinate its many functions.
